It's kind of hard to show you my Desktop, since I've got a folder of almost 3000 images of planes, cars, astronauts/space I've collected over the years, and the Desktop changes every minute. I use the same folder for my screen saver. This Su-22UM is what happened to be there at the moment.

I have had this as a wallpaper on my work machine for the better part of 10 years. Apollo 17. That is Harrison Schmidt taking a sample. I think the colors work well as a background as they are easy on the eyes. The image is cool as there is always something interesting to look at. The subject is just amazing as well. Also, fastest car ever.

Found this one while looking for a link to the one above. Also worthy.

I'm a bit obsessive about keeping my desktop as clean as possible; I can't stand just having random programs and files and whatnot laying about. Everything has its own folder.

I used to change my background almost weekly and one day stumbled across this one and... just never changed it again. It's Central Park in the snow and it's... rather peaceful and beautiful. I can imagine the quiet, the bite of the cold. I don't know why I think it's so evocative but such is life.
